A New English Word from a German Source – Wintimacy
A German may surprise you by saying that he needs a new “Handy“, which is some could-be-English for a mobile telephone – but of course there are more word like the “der Slip“ which can be best translated as “ the panties“.
Anyway –a Ms. Fischbach of ElitePartner Germany created a new English word called “Wintimacy“. No, the intension is not to protect your Windows based PC against spyware from the net – it means “intimacy in Winter“ – which may or may not stand for the feeling single people have when “the autumn leaves fall“ and the body produces to much of the hormone melatonin.
Whatever Ms. Fischbach may think – the company she workes for, ElitePartner, a German dating service, created a website called www.wintimacy.de, which links directly to ElitePartners new magazine. So what do we ascpect? Most probably, you will need a new word in English – and as you have our Kindergarten already and our Zeitgeist, why not cerate a new word like “Frostfrust“, which singles may have when there is no 37-degree-celsius heating around?
